Where’s the growing point of the rosette?

I have discovered that there is no growing point in the middle of the rosette! 😲 I have heard about this abnormality, but haven't seen this myself. Basically, the rosette is done growing. 🥺There is a flower or a baby coming out on a side 🤩, but nothing will ever grow out of the middle of the big rosette. I am curious to see how this develops and how the plant changes its appearance. 🙃

I really like the spotty red on this echeveria, it makes it different from all others that are evenly colored. It grows nice fat leaves and feels very firm as a whole plant. The pot is 4.5" and it seems that soon it will need a bigger one.

Will have an update later on when I see what's coming on the side, baby or flower. And if that's a flower, will wait for a off shot soon 🙂

AND…. Here comes an update!!!

Today is April 15th, which means about 2 weeks have passed.

There is a new rosette growing at the base of the claw shaped leaf. It seems that the leaf will dry out letting the new rosette to take over. YEEESSSS!!!! 🤩
