My “Peony” Succulent

My favorite today: Echeveria 'Berkeley Light' f. variegata

To my surprise, I have not had any problems with this beautiful plant even though it is variegated a lot! 😍 Many other variegated plants decline or refuse to thrive. This one has tripled in size in the last 18 months. 🤩

In contrast to a regular (unvariegated) Berkeley Light, this unique plant curls its leaves creating a peony effect. 🌷

In fact, different leaf sizes intensify its similarity to the peony flower. 🙃

When I was taking pictures, I could not decide whether I liked more those in full sun or in shade. The sunny pictures show the form with greater contrast 😎 and the pot is showing its shiny silver 🧡, but the shade pictures focus on the tender texture of the "petals". 😍💘 Shade pictures show a tender flower instead of a succulent! 🌺

This echeveria is definitely one of my the most favorite ones and not just for today! 😍

Also, because I was admiring it today, it got featured on a SALE flier dedicated to the 4th of July SALE that I was creating that day. 😆

It was pictured in a silver pot that is 4” in diameter.
