Calm Satisfying Look

My favorite today: Echeveria 'Raffine'.

This echeveria was not attractive when I first got it. The farina was smudged, leaves damaged and flat, so overall not impressive at all.

Over time, as it rooted, the leaves plumped up and became much more chubby. 🤩The farina on new leaves gave it purplish tint 💜and the shape with smaller somewhat round leaves became very satisfying to look at. 😍

It's not a center of attention plant. However, when I look at it, it keeps my attention and calms me down. 😊 Its picture taken in shade, where dark shadows and sharp contrast is eliminated, shows it almost in pastel colors - very chamming. 😘

After removing smudged farina from older leaves, the pinkish-orange color appeared so uniform and pleasing that I like it even better. 🧡

The name of this echeveria hybrid is 'Raffine', but it is often mistakenly called 'Lapine' maybe because of its parents Echeveria laui (la) and Echeveria secunda 'Pinwheel'(pin).🧐

It is pictured in a 4" pot.
